Every person has Divinity embedded in him, as well as truth and sweetness. Only he/she does not how to manifest that Divinity and how to realize that Truth or taste that sweetness. Courage is the tonic for acquiring both physical as well as mental health and their strength. Give up doubt, hesitation and fear. Do not give any chance for these to strike root in your mind. Keep the name of the Lord always on your tongue and dwell on the endless forms of the Lord. Attach yourself to Him, the temporary objects will themselves fall off!

One can be happy with much less equipment than he/she seems to think is essential. When some article is with you for little time, you feel it is indispensable and you do not know how to live without it. Like the silkworm, you weave a cocoon for yourself out of your fancy. Do not allow costly habits to grow, costly from the monetary as well as the spiritual point of view. Watch your likes and dislikes with vigilant eyes and discard anything that threatens to encumber your path.

Be fixed in the consciousness that you yourself are the immortal "Athma" (spirit) which is indestructible, which is holy, pure and divine. That will give you unshakable courage and strength. Then, you must develop mutual love and respect. Tolerate all kinds of persons and opinions, all attitudes and peculiarities. The home, the workplace and the society are all the training grounds of tolerance. The relationship with each other must be based on love, not fear. Only the atmosphere of love can guarantee happy co-operation and concord.

Shanthi (Peace) is the highest gain which you can earn in this life! Have full faith in God and in yourselves. Engage always in good deeds, beneficial activities. Speak the truth. Do not inflict pain by word or deed or even thought. That is the way to gain Shanthi (Peace).
